Character and aromas
A dry white wine made from the Solaris grape with the recognizable rich aroma of tropical fruit and a full flavor. The lively character of a touch of Cabernet Blanc gives this pure, soft wine lovely, fresh notes of green apple.
Goes well with
This wine is the ideal companion for light dishes. Think of a fresh salad with goat cheese, grilled salmon or a plate of fresh tapas. It also goes well with a drink with some cheese and nuts. Thanks to its fresh and not too heavy character, it can be served with almost anything. Also ideal for a cozy afternoon in the garden, with a nice piece of quiche or antipasti.
Wijngoed Gelders Laren
Wijngoed Gelders Laren consists of 2 hectares of vineyard with approx. 6,000 sticks divided over 5 grape varieties.
Vineyard owners Gert Jan Voortman and Diana van der Biezen focus on the cultivation of wine grapes and personally ensure that the wine grapes reach optimum quality. They do this by doing the winter pruning manually, applying truss thinning and picking selectively.
This way of working certainly pays off. The wines from the winery are of a high quality.
Special collaborations
Besides its own Coulisse wines, Wijngoed Gelders Laren produces quality wines with passionate sommeliers. We at Design & Wijn have experienced this unique process ourselves with our own orange wine, 'Oranje Boven'.
Other collaborations include Thérèse Boer. This wine, "Thérèse's Kiss," was made exclusively for restaurant De Librije***
Vinification
The processing of the grapes and bottling of the wine is taken care of by Neerlands Wijnmakerij in Bentelo.
