Character and aromas

The wine is made from Pinotin, Cabernet Cortis, and a small amount of Regent grapes. On the palate, the wine is light and refreshing, with a supple structure and a fine balance between fruit and freshness. About the winemaker

Hof van Twente Vineyard was founded by Roelof and Ilse Visscher. Roelof had always wanted to be a farmer and realized his dream by establishing three vineyards in Bentelo. The company now produces 25,000 liters of Twente wine annually. At Neerlands Wijnmakerij, located on the Visscher estate, the grapes are processed into various wines: white, red, and rosé. Both the Twentewijnen Sueterie and Selecte wines are gaining increasing recognition both nationally and internationally. Hof van Twente Vineyard continues to passionately and carefully craft wines that reflect the Twente terroir and contribute to a more pleasant, sustainable society.

Wijngaard Hof van Twente is a producer of locally produced wines and a social entrepreneur. The company has a strong focus on sustainability. Wine doesn't have to be sourced from far away; a regional production site reduces the ecological footprint. For example, they use solar energy and a heat pump to support their energy needs.
