The Natural Wine Solaris comes from the top vintage of 2021. This full-bodied, dry wine has notes of tropical fruit on the nose, such as passion fruit and orange peel. The wine offers a full, round mouthfeel yet textured thanks to the subtle bitterness. The wine is unfiltered and may be cloudy due to small particles and sediment. Don't worry, that's actually great, as it's a result of the natural unfiltered process that preserves all the good flavors. The result? Vineyard VieVinVjenne – Vriezenveen (Twente), Overijssel – NL

Winemaker Marcel Oude-Booijink has arranged his vineyard in such a way that the vines need as little help as possible. For example, he has built roadsides that stimulate biodiversity and his tendrils grow at a height of +-180cm. This helps against frost damage and against fungi. Also, the natural lawnmowers (sheep) run the vineyard all year round. After all, these cannot snack on the grapes, which hang much too high. Marcel also works as pure as possible in the winery.
