The RIEDEL® | Performance Cabernet/Merlot Wine Glass | Set of 2 has been specially developed to bring out the complex aromas and powerful structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines to their fullest potential. This glass is perfect for full-bodied, complex red wines with high tannins, in which fruity and spicy notes come together.

This wine glass is part of the innovative RIEDEL Performance series, a collection that elevates design and functionality to a higher level. The series was introduced in 2018 and co-designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel. As the first wine glass line ever, Performance features a subtle optical impact in the bowl. This unique structure increases the inner surface area of the glass, allowing aromas to develop better and be perceived more intensely.

The generous size of the glass ensures that the bouquet can fully unfold and the rough edges of tannins are softened. The glass emphasizes the fruity character of the wine, reduces the bitterness of tannins, and contributes to a harmonious balance. This shape was redeveloped in 2018 for an even better aromatic experience.

With a capacity of 834 ml, a height of 24.5 centimeters, and a maximum diameter of 10.5 centimeters, the glass offers optimal space for the wine to fully open up.
