Character and aromas
The nose opens with a heady aroma of elderflower, fresh gooseberry, and a hint of freshly mown grass, complemented by subtle notes of green pepper. On the palate, you'll discover an elegant balance between crisp acidity and a warm, smooth finish. Aromas of toast and white currant linger pleasantly, while a hint of passion fruit and jasmine adds a tropical touch.

This wine is a versatile table companion. Pair it with grilled asparagus, fresh salads with goat cheese, or light fish dishes such as ceviche. Also delicious with Asian dishes with lime and coriander or as an aperitif on a sunny afternoon.
About the winemaker
Domaine Zavel, located in Tegelen, is run by winemakers Joni and Arno. They make wines with a focus on natural processes and organically/biodynamically grown grapes, often from friendly farmers. Their approach, also called “Low Intervention”, means that they make minimal interventions in the winemaking process and put the grape and the terroir central.
