This Souvignier Gris is smooth and full of character. The nose reveals notes of beurre noisette, wild peach, pear, and salmiak. The finish is characterized by a subtle bitterness.

This sparkling wine is made using the Méthode Champenoise and aged for 26 months on its lees, resulting in a refined and elegant fizz. With a dosage of 6 grams, this wine can be labeled either brut or extra brut. Brut stands for dry and extra brut for extra dry; this wine falls perfectly between these two styles.

About Domein Holset

Domein Holset is a vibrant winery in the hilly south of Limburg, specializing in locally produced sparkling wines. Everything is managed in-house: from grape cultivation to the entire winemaking process and the application of traditional methods. They work with great care and in the most sustainable way possible. They operate organically, but without a quality mark.

At the helm is Kirsten Abels, winemaker and director of Domein Holset. In 2023, she was named Wine Woman of the Year. Her signature is evident in every bottle: a certain elegance and refinement that is characteristic of the estate. Visitors can not only sample the sparkling wines and stroll through the vineyards, but also stay overnight in one of the seven unique rooms.
